Tutoring Experience

I have experience tutoring at A Level in Economics, Maths, Further Maths and Geography with the most common grade increase being B-A*.

I have also tutored students in Economics and Geography Personal Statement and University/Oxbridge admissions, with a 100% success rate in achieving Oxbridge interviews.

I have also tutored over a variety of levels, helping teach basic Maths and English to students in rural India.

Tutoring Approach

In Mathematics, I help establish a core, fundamental understanding of content as well as explaining how to apply this to all types of exam question in a given topic through worked examples. Combined with frequent practice and questions, this has led to students receiving top grades in exams.

Economics exams are extremely strategic; I help teach and reinforce content in a structured and logical way that can answer exam questions optimally, as well as providing advice on how to answer and structure each different type of question. Through this method, it also encourages students to think in a more logical way helping them grasp economic concepts more easily.

I aim to provide a comfortable, engaging environment where it is students feel able to ask as many questions as possible; I actively encourage this, as it allows for students to understand the content as well as possible.
