I can teach Maths from KS2 to sixth form. I am keen to help you, especially with Maths GCSE, IGCSE, and A-Level exam preparation.
I am a well-resourced teacher with good teaching strategies and flexibility. Over the summer, I am also instructing a private GCSE maths workshop.
Tutoring Approach
The lessons are tailored for your needs. I give regular homework to take away and practice at home, detailed feedback and lots of resources to make learning more accessible.
My pedagogical approach is based on the science of memory and how students learn. For example: the use of scaffolding planning and questioning skills to promote and strengthen critical and analytical maths thinking. For example: breaking down a complex problem into small concrete steps. Building up confidence, creating good learning habits and encouraging discoveries within the notion of maths is what I am aiming for.
I am working hard and creatively to be an inspirational teacher who has flair and expertise to engage, motive and inspire students through learning maths with me, and to support them more.
