Tutoring Experience

I have been tutoring students for more than eight years, beginning with the foundational subjects of high school math and English. My experience has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of the challenges students face in these areas, enabling me to provide tailored support for individual needs.

As I continued to expand my expertise, I then moved onto preparing students for standardized tests such as the SAT and GRE exams. This included designing targeted practice exercises and implementing strategies to boost confidence and performance during test-taking.

I have also guided students through the complex process of undergraduate and graduate admissions. This entails assisting with application forms, providing insights into what institutions are looking for, and helping to craft compelling personal statements.

My students have received offers from the University of California-Berkeley, the Duke University School of Law, Columbia Medical School, the David Geffen Medical School at UCLA, as well as scholarships and fellowships for physics, English, and other graduate programs.

My years as a music teacher have further enriched my teaching capabilities. Drawing from these experiences, I'm able to recognize and understand each student's unique learning style. This understanding allows me to tailor lessons specifically to meet their individual needs.
