Tutoring Experience

In the last four years, I've successfully tutored students, many of whom received offers from top institutions like Cambridge, Imperial, and UCL. I focus on identifying and addressing students' weaknesses, creating tailored plans for improvement.

With expertise in Maths, Biology, and Chemistry up to A-level standards (GCSE for Maths), I adapt my teaching style to suit individual needs. I also have extensive experience teaching BMAT and UKCAT, specializing in Medicine interview preparation, particularly for Oxbridge interviews.

Many of my students have been admitted to UCL, Imperial, and Cambridge. Recognizing the impact of teachers, I entered teaching five years ago, with a focus on tutoring Medicine applicants to excel in exams like the UCAT and BMAT. My goal is not just improvement but also instilling a lasting passion for the subject.

I start by teaching essential study skills like effective note-taking, active recall, and spaced repetition, which benefit students throughout their lives. These are the skills I bring as your tutor.

Tutoring Approach

As an educator, my goal is to empower students through practical methods. I use aptitude tests to identify areas of weakness, analyzing performance to create personalized plans for improvement. During lessons, we focus on specific examples and use targeted techniques to strengthen understanding. I provide additional questions for post-lesson practice, fostering a continuous path to mastery. Outside formal sessions, I maintain open communication through email or WhatsApp, closely monitoring each student's progress.

In interview preparation, I follow a similar approach, refining weak points through tailored practice interviews. These sessions align with the unique requirements of the universities students aspire to join, considering the academic emphasis at institutions like Oxbridge and the holistic evaluation at MMI universities.

In academic subjects, I utilize proven methodologies like active recall, spaced repetition, and the Feynman technique. By integrating these tools, I aim to create an environment that not only tests students but also reveals their strengths and weaknesses, guiding them on a transformative path of continuous improvement.
