I tutor online sessions that are tailored to the student's strengths and weaknesses, focusing chiefly on improving their essay writing techniques in order to achieve the best grades they can. Tutoring Experience
Over the past year, I have been providing private tutoring services primarily focused on English Literature and Language for students at all levels of Secondary education. My students range from those preparing for exams to those learning foundational skills in year 7, 8, and 9.
I have previously tutored Maths and English for two years, assisting students from nursery to GCSE in achieving their personal best. Currently, I offer online 121 sessions in English Language and Literature, as well as History, catering to Secondary, GCSE, and A Level students.
Throughout my academic journey, I consistently attained top grades in all of my school exams, particularly excelling in A Level where I ranked among the top A*s in both English Literature and History. Furthermore, I have actively aided students with their university applications, assisting them in crafting compelling personal statements for both Oxbridge and other UK universities.
As part of my commitment to support humanities students, I am also partnered with my former school to guide their current students through this application process.
Tutoring Approach
The sessions will be organized around the student's needs, and will usually include a recap of the subject's content, developing detailed analysis together and practice papers or writing exercises.
